The guided tour of the castle
Part medieval fortress, part Renaissance residence, the Château de Châteaudun invites you on a true journey through time. Overlooking the Loir Valley, this majestic monument, built between the 12th and 16th centuries, combines defensive architecture with residential refinement. Enjoy an unmissable guided tour to discover one of the earliest châteaux of the Loire Valley, where history, art and heritage converge.

From 5 September to 1 May, every day at 11.15 am and 2.30 pm. Tours for groups of at least 2 adults and up to a maximum of 35 people. Duration: approximately 1 hour. Sign up on arrival at reception; no advance booking required. Price: no additional charge on top of your ticket price.
Guided tour of the keep
The monument's staff will help you discover the secrets of Châteaudun Castle. The "Donjon" guided tour takes you to the top of the keep and into the castle's attic, areas that are not open for self-guided visitors.
